Rehoboam (jan 2, 931 BC – may 8, 914 BC)
Description:
Rehoboam was the son of Solomon, who was the former king of Israel. His father Solomon made the people work very hard; and the people asked Rehoboam to lighten their work load, if he did not they would rebel against him. Rehoboam said he would give them their answer in three days. He asked for advice from his fathers advisers they said " lighten their load and then they will serve you forever, and after you can do whatever you want. He also asked advice from younger people who he grew up and they said "make their load harder" and Rehoboam picked the advice from the younger people; and the people rebelled and the kingdoms were split.
