Ahab (dec 27, 875 BC – may 1, 853 BC)
Description:
AhabHe married Jezebel; he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He served false gods, he killed Naboth because he wanted his vineyard, He did a lot of bad things so there was a big drought. He made an alliance with Jehoshaphat, and he asked Jehoshaphat to go to war with him. Even though Micaiah the prophet of the Lord said he would die in battle.
Ahab did not listen, and he went to war. Ahab dressed as a soldier so they would not go after him; but a random person shot a random arrow and it hit Ahab. When Ahab was wounded he went out of war; and died and the dogs licked up his blood. This relates to Elijah's prophecy that the dogs would lick up Ahab's blood.
