Description:
Jehoahaz was the son of Jehu. He reigned for 17 years.
He was evil and he did not depart from serving idols.
"He [Jehoahaz] did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin; he did not depart from them." (2 Kings 13:2)
a. God was mad that Israel was serving idols, so He let them be defeated by the Syrians a lot of times.
