Food Supplies Dictatorship organised the requisitioning of peasants’ grain.
Peasants given low-value vouchers instead of money
Violent repression - Cheka used to enforce the policy
Labour discipline and rationing
Strict discipline re-imposed on workers - fines imposed for absenteeism.
Wages replaced with ration-card workbooks - rations given out in accordance to class status.
Workers lost rights and freedoms.
