Description:
Elah was Baasha's son. He reigned for 2 years.
He was evil because he served idols.
"for all the sins of Baasha and the sins of Elah his son, which they sinned and which they made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord God of Israel to anger with their idols." (1 Kings 16:13)
a. He was drunk when he got killed.
b. Jehu said that anyone of Baasha's house would die. Elah's servant Zimri killed Elah (the son of Baasha) and all his relatives.
