King Ahaziah/Jehoahaz's reign (jan 1, 842 BC – jan 1, 841 BC)

Description:

Ahaziah was the son of Jehoram and Athaliah (Ahab's daughter). He reigned for 1 year.
He was evil because he allied with King Joram of Israel. He also served idols.
"He [Ahaziah] also walked in the way of the house of Ahab and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for he was son-in-law to the house of Ahab." (2 Kings 8:27)
a. Joram of Israel was wounded in battle when he allied with Ahaziah. He went to Jezreel and Ahaziah went to visit him. They were both killed by Jehu.
