1881 Event: Journeys to Africa (jan 1, 1881 – jan 1, 1914)
Description:
Europeans took part in the 1881-1914 event known as the Scramble for Africa in order to find more resources, territory and have more communication with people. This event was actually to wipe out slavery. The Scramble for Africa impacted Africa negatively as there were many conflicts that took place.
