The First international tournament took place between 1884 and 1885. The tournament featured 5 National Teams. England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. The tournament was won by Northern Ireland. Since the tournament though, they have not been the most successful team to come out of the British Isles.
