Industrial Shift (jan 1, 1870 – jan 1, 1900)
Description:
Great Britain began to fall behind the rest of the western world in industrialization, especially Germany, due in part to maintaining existing infrastructure and not modernizing. France & Germany began to take over chemical production like that of alkaline, artificial dyes, and nitrates. Electricity began to develop with hydroelectric power stations and public power stations.
