HATSHEPSUT (jan 1, 1504 BC – jan 1, 1482 BC)
Description:
Sets aside rule of Thutmose III (because non-royal mother)
The daughter of Pharaoh (Thutmose I) who found Moses in the river, raised him as her son.
Hatshepsut is the only woman to have ruled over Egypt as [quasi-] Pharaoh.
All that we know of her personality and
career fit perfectly with the biblical description of the woman who rescued the child Moses from the river.
