Description:
-Brother of Charles Wesley, the hymn writer
-Began the “holy club” which turned into the Methodist Church
-Said to have traveled over 200,000 miles on horseback and preached 42,000 times
-The Methodist Church and its zeal for missions and evangelism (under the example of Wesley) grew to over 1 million by 1844
-Argued that saints could obtain perfection here on earth
