The ancient greeks belived in the four humours. The theory of the four humours described how people became ill when one of their four humours, ( Phlegm, Blood, Yellow Bile, and Black Bile) became out of balance. This was because one of the four humours seemed to come out of someone when they were ill. To make people better, they tried to restore the balance of the four humours.Added to timeline:
