Attack on the Twin Towers (sep 11, 2001 – sep 12, 2001)
Description:
Four passenger planes were hijacked by a terrorist and purposefully crashed into the Twin Towers. Thousands died as a result of the attack.Homeland security increased as a result, specifically in regard to air transportation. Citizens all through the U.S. came together, however, to grieve the casualties and destruction imposed on their nation.
