Stamp Act (mar 22, 1765 – mar 18, 1766)
Description:
Taxes were placed on all papers in the American colonies, excluding England, by the British parliament. However, Americans were not pleased. They conjoined, fighting against the tax imposed on their society.
Consequently, Americans bonded through civil disobedience. They overturned the Stamp Act, and the colony was free from the tax. However, the relationship between the colonies was strained.
