Armenian Genocide (jan 4, 1915 – feb 2, 1918)
Description:
Systematic destruction of the the Armenian people by the Ottoman Empire.Between 600,000-1.5 million Armenians when they were forced to march through the desert. They were deprived of food, beaten, raped and massacred.
To this day, Turkish nationalists and the Turkish government refuse to acknowledge that this happened.
