Description:
To help consumers charge their vehicles on the go, the Energy Department invests in a nation-wide charging infrastructure, installing 18,000 residential, commercial and public chargers. Including chargers installed by automakers and other private companies. This is significant because it supports the government viewpoints on the use of electric cars by showing how they are adapting society around the use of electric cars to make it easier to go green.Added to timeline:
