The exchange of plants,animals, cultures,diseases, ideas, etc btween the Americas [The New World] and Europe+Africa [Old world]
Exchanges :
New World --> Old World: potatoes, maize, tomatoes, tobacco, (crops,etc)
Europe-->America: wheat, domestic animals(horses, chickens,etc).
Effects:
Europe-->massive population growth because of the new crops introduced
Africa--> Spanish used A-A from wes Africa to be used as slaves in the U.S
Americas: spread of diseases(small pox), social classes,[Horses had a huge impact on N.A life, especially on the Great Plains)., Encomendia system]
