Imported Weapons From France (Organization) (jan 1, 1992 – jan 1, 1994)

Description:

France was another major part of the Rwandan genocide as they also supplied many resources to the country. A French arms dealer agreed to sell $12 million dollars worth of weapons to Rwanda. They supplied bullets, mortars, and light artillery guns.

Rwandan government now had access to these weapons and were able to carry out their plans of genocide. France did this because they had diplomatic and international relations with the Rwandans.
France felt that they needed to provide resources to Rwanda in order to maintain good relationships with the country.
