Imports of Machetes From China (Organization) (jan 1, 1990 – jan 1, 1994)

Description:

The Rwandan government imported $750,000 worth of machetes from China. Over 500,000 weapons were sent to Rwanda without questioning.

Major importers of weapons included: Egypt, South Africa, China,and France. The Rwandan government carried out these plans of having weapons imported so they could carry out their plans of genocide.

China has a very important part in the cause and effect relationship with the Rwandan genocide. China was a large importer to Rwanda for weapons. These weapons were used to carry out the genocide. China carried out these plans as they wanted to empower the Hutus and create direct connections with the country.
