The Marshall Plan (apr 3, 1948 – jan 1, 1951)
Description:
A part of the strategy to contain the spread of Soviets, the Truman Doctrine included another policy to help Europe regain its strength through an active program of development referred to as the Marshall Plan.
The plan cost nearly $13 Billion dollars; the majority of which went to purchase goods from the US.
