Etruscans (jan 1, 1200 BC – jan 1, 400)
Description:
The Etruscans originated from Anatolia. They migrated to the Italian peninsula in the mid 1200s BCE during the collapse of the Bronze Age. They were a group of allied states which were united under their common language - Etruscan and a similar culture. In their peak between 600 and 400 BCE, they developed a maritime trade network. The Etruscans are best known for their road systems and their pottery. The Etruscans came to an end when they were conquered by the Gauls and then the Romans.
