Greek Classical Age (jan 1, 500 BC – jan 1, 323 BC)
Description:
The Classical Age was a period of great intellectual growth and artistic development including in monumental architecture. Major figures include Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. This period was also characterized by frequent wars and much trade. Some remaining buildings from Athens include the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
