Description:
-Where: China-The Han empire was a meritocracy; young men trained at learning centers took tests and were chosen for gov’t positions
-They kept most of the Qin gov’t system in place, but without all the intensity; they also modified Confucianism and added that in to fit a large, centralized political entity
