Description:
Known as the last religious war, this war underwent four phases (Bohemian, Danish, Swedish, and France) that evolved from religious intentions towards more political gains. The war shifted from religious to political intent when France joined the war supporting Protestant countries, despite being a Catholic country. This was in an attempt to try and weaken the Habsburg Empire. Although no one really won the war, all Habsburg power was removed from the HRE.Added to timeline:
