James Boyce (jan 1, 1827 – jan 1, 1888)
Description:
Boyce is important to the SBC in many different ways spending seven terms as its president. He started Southern Seminary which was important for training Southern Baptist pastors. He also was a professor at Southern during the time he served as president.
