Description:

The Liberal Party was mainly concerned with the modernization of the State and with undertaking changes in economic policies for the development of the country. Within these changes, the peasants took into account thanks to the creation of the National Association of Peasant Users (ANUC) since the agrarian reform received a great impulse with the objective of delivering land to the peasants. Another important issue during the Lleras government was the Constitutional reform of 1968.
