Alberto Lleras Camargo PresidentFirst president of the National Front, he belonged to the Liberal Party. He established the program for the insertion of the guerrillas who had signed the peace, supported an agrarian reform project that turned out to be unfeasible, promoted a reform to improve public education, promoted economic projects of a developmental nature, and aligned Colombia with the international policy of the United States and the Alliance for Progress.
