Description:
Was the largest contiguous empire in history, covered over 9 million miles of territory. Was led by Ghenghis Khan. The Mongol Empire practiced religious tolerance. Despite its reputation for brutal warfare, The Mongol Empire enabled peace briefly, stability, trade and protected travel under a period of Mongol peace.
