1966-1985 Awakening:
The eldest of the Millennials were born in the later part of the Counterculture movement, although they only remembered very little at most and were entering the world where America/Capitalism was ultimately winning.
The AIDs pandemic and the threat of the Cold War did not leave a big impression on older Millennials compared to the impact it had on Gen Xers.
1986-2005 Unravelling:
This signifies the ultimate childhood for many Millennials and the young adulthood for others. The Simpsons show is a good example of the kind of life that many Millennials expected for their own future, it was also the kind of future that was promised to them. Having a job that could afford you a nice enough house, a family and vacations.
The Millennials became the largest consumers of social media, like MSN and Myspace.
Cracks were showing not long after the world entered the new millennium, 9/11*Iraq War and the War on Terror have already trampled on the optimism for some older Millennials.
They were beginning to be known as narcissists by older generations, and many wanted to be famous due to shows like Pop Idol.
2006-2025 Crisis:
Facebook and YouTube enter the picture, Pop Idol becomes X-Factor then later Britain's Got Talent.
Many Millennials have been or are going to college and universities with high expectations, but many Millennials end up disappointed with student debt and losing competition.
This is the time when reality deflated their optimism, most Millennials are not equipped with the skills necessary to deal with hard times.
The 2007-2008 Financial crisis was the first financial setback that the Millennials suffered, followed by a decade of stagflation leaving them with worse opportunities compared to their parents.
The iPhone enters the picture and social media really begins to take off changing the world, the Millennials now have a bigger voice, a few become very rich and famous due to the success that can come from being an online personality.
The rise of social media have had a huge impact on the Millennial generation and have fuelled movements such as 4th Wave Feminism, Black Lives Matter, Social Justice Warriors etc.
In the Islamic World the Millennials were the driving force behind the Arab Spring.
Those movements have changed the world drastically, causing political and social division.
The Millennials are blamed for killing off the comparatively prosperous world of 1986-2005 and there is some truth to that.
The Coronavirus Crisis and the lockdowns have yet again put on another setback for their future prospects.
The war in Ukraine hastened the decline of global prosperity even further.
The post-lockdown/pandemic economy was a hyperinflation bubble waiting to be burst and once it did many Millennials have had enough and rebelled against their leaders.
At this time Millennials made up the majority of the workforce, during the revolutions and the strikes it caused countries to shut down. Coups were also rampant.
In the later part of the 2006-2025 Crisis some Millennials are enjoying the money inherited from their Baby Boomer parents, some are taking full advantage of the inheritance and are becoming a more powerful generation than ever before.
Charismatic Millennial political figures appear out of nowhere during the later part of the Crisis, and are often populist in nature.
2026-2045 High:
Baby Boomers are rapidly losing their dominance and are dying, Gen X leaders are changing the political landscape, Millennial leaders too are entering the political landscape as more and more inheritance is claimed from the Baby Boomers.
In the early days of the 2026-2045 High the world is in a state of recuperation and reset, unemployment was still very high.
Millennial leaders are confident but are radical, the changes they brought on were systems like universal-credit socialism in place of capitalism, technocracies not unlike China and their most controversial contribution being social credit systems.
Gen X leaders in comparison were more pragmatic and balanced.
The Meta universe (artificial reality) saw its rise in this time as well, money became digital, jobs becoming digital, pretty much everything becoming digital and eventually it was impossible to live a life offline within society.
The Meta was so addictive that many people were neglecting the outside world, AI had eventually advanced to the point where they could do the jobs that many people no longer cared to do.
Zoomers (Gen Z) are especially hopelessly addicted to augmented and virtual reality.
Since everything was online, those in power had more power over people than they ever had before, abuses of power and the violation of human rights happened.
A growing minority of people were involved in neo-luddite movements as well as anarcho-primitivist movements, in places like the American wilderness they can be found building their own communities there.

The Hacker generation (2021-2040) are now a rebellious and indulgent youth, they are more tech-savvy than all previous generations and have an upper hand because of that.
During this time Millennial leadership is challenged and attacked by the Hacker generation, who believe that restrictions as well as big brother societies should be lifted, the Hackers are also strong advocates for robot rights.
Zoomers political leaders enter the scene, the leaders of which the Hackers prefer.
The demolition of draconian societies were times of great celebrations, and the Hackers were now more free to do what they wanted.
2066-2085 Unravelling:
The Millennials are now elderly.
Transhumanism is now officially in full-swing as well as societies similar to Cyberpunk 2077, many new technological mega-corporations sprung up, many new technologies grant people new experiences and new ways to become addicted.
Technology and entertainment spiralled into full-on decadence.
By the end of this time, concerns of the potential threat that those new technologies could bring to the world spread, people were beginning to get worried.
2086-2105 Crisis:
The fear of the threat of AI got to a breaking point, wars between man and machine break out for the first time.
Many Millennials alive today are cyborgs or transhumans.
The 2061-2080 generation become the driving force of building strong institutions to restrict the growing influence and power of technology, using technology to prevent technology from going out of control becoming an even bigger threat.
The Hacker generation elites of the megacorporation's rule this world, their most controversial activity being the creation of clone armies*workers*test-subjects.
