Description:
One of the firsts to perform controlled experiments and publish details of them, and helped improve multiple scientific instruments (ex air pump, disproving Descartes’s vacuum theory). Boyles law: states that the pressure of a gas varies inversely with volume. Hypothesized that chemical substances were composed of tiny mechanical particles, out of which all other matter was found
