Description:
Robert Bakewell was an agriculturalist and is recognized as one of the most important figures in the Agricultural Revolution. His research was regarding selective breeding, choosing types and species to breed to create desired effects in plants and animals. This would be revolutionary due to the types of changes that could be done. Seeds could be removed from plants to make them easier to eat. Plants could become more resistant to disease, parasites, and pesticides. Higher crop yields. All of these are attributed to the research of Bakewell.
