Description:
His full name is Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend of Raynham, but he is also known by the nickname "Turnip Townshend" due to his contribution to the usage of turnips in crop rotations. Turnips raised the agricultural activity of a plot of land, making yields more bountiful.
