Montgomery Bus Boycott (dec 5, 1955 – dec 20, 1956)
Description:
After Rosa Parks was arrested & fined for sitting down after a white woman told her to move, a movement was sparked in the colored community. They completely boycotted public buses until it was deemed unconstitutional to have segregation on buses. This was during the civil rights movement. A time where black people where wanting changes in the way they were treated.
