Description:
Marine Corps fought mostly in the pacific war. I'm pretty sure Francis Hogan was involved with this. After Pearl Harbor America started fighting Japan in the Pacific War. It took place in East Asia and the Pacific ocean During the battle of Kula Gulf the USS Helena got hit by a torpedo and sank. 168 soldiers died. I'm not sure if Francis was on it when it sank.
