Description:
Enduring Understanding: Although Puritans left England as a result of religious persecution, they in turn created a system of theocratic oppression in the New England colonies.
The New England Colonies consisted of more power due to the oppression they had in that colony. The three colonies are also similar due to the fact that they are located next to each other on the east coast of the country.
