Nuremburg Trials (nov 20, 1945 – oct 1, 1946)

Description:

The International Military Tribunal conducted investigatins against leading Nazis at Nuremburg, Germany. After consideration by the judges, who were provided by the Allies, the defendants were considered guilty of war crimes, crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity. Twelve defendants were sentenced to death, three to life imprisonment, and four to prison terms. Only three of the defendants were acquitted.
