Reforms of Cleisthenes (jan 1, 510 BC – nov 1, 507 BC)
Description:
Following his victory over Isagoras, Cleisthenes reshaped Athenian politics and ficided the existing body from 4 tribes into 10, and increased the council from 400 to 500 members, so that each tribe could have 50 representatives.
These reforms earned Cleisthenes the title of "The Father of the Athenian Democracy"
