Thomas Jefferson's Presidency (feb 17, 1801 – mar 3, 1809)
Description:
Political: Thomas Jefferson is one of the most iconic Presidents in our nations history. He agreed with Congress to buy the Louisiana Purchase from the French. He sent out Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to explore it. Without these explorers there would still be a wild west. Thomas Jefferson also wrote the Declaration of Independence, of course that was before he was president, but it is still one of the most important things to happen in the history of our country.
