Description:

This was the beginning of the Korean War. North Korea was backed by communist China and the Soviet Union while South Korea was backed by the United Nations with the Unites States being the main force. The war was caused when the Soviets freed Korea above the 38th parallel and the US freed everything below the 38th parallel. Each side set up their own government and when the Cold War rolled around each side claimed that their government was for all of Korea. The war was very back and forth and the capitol of South Korea was even traded hands 4 times. First North Korea invaded South Korea and pushed back all of the forces South Korea had to a small place known as the Pusan Perimeter.
