Description:
A.K.A. the Turkish Empire, was an empire that controlled much of Southeast Europe, Western Asia, and Northern Africa. Contributed to the development of hospitals and healthcare, and witnessed advances in medicine, mining, and military technology. They also set up a leading observatory in Istanbul and established more than 300 centers of learning known as medreses. Leader = "Sultan". (1299 - 1922.)
