Alaska Tour (oct 23, 1979 – nov 12, 1979)

Description:

RDT toured Alaska for four weeks, sponsored by the Alaskan Arts Council. Their residencies included a mini-history concert, in Anchorage, Bethel, Kenai, and Thorne Bay, a logging camp of 250 people, thirty minutes by twin-engine floatplane from Ketchikan. Because of the lack of well-equipped theatres in many communities, RDT had acquired equipment necessary for performances in any situation. The company toured with its own lights, curtains, sound system, music, costumes, props, special effects and floor.
