Sloan's Skirmish (mar 1, 1781 – mar 31, 1781)

Description:

Patriot Thomas Mackey was in Capt D Stewart's militia unit between Camden and Waxhaw, South Carolina. During his three months service, he was severely wounded in the skirmish with a detachment of British and Tories at Sloan's near Grannies Quarter Creek north of Camden.
