Description:
Maj Otterson's Hamilton Ford militia was ordered to gain intelligence on Loyalist in western Chester County. They found no one at the home of Loyalist Capt David Hopkins. Maj Otterson noticed smoke a quarter mile away on the ridge and discovered a Tory camp. Maj Otterson's militia attacked and defeated the Tories.Added to timeline:
