Description:
Tory Lawrence Rambo owned a mill and blockhouse on Horn Creek. Either Rambo switched sides or Patriots captured his blockhouse and used it as a headquarters for several years until August 1781 when the Tories attacked, captured, and burned the blockhouse. No record of casualities.Added to timeline:
