Skirmish at Mudlick (jul 1, 1781 – jul 31, 1781)
Description:
Col Thomas Brandon's Patriot militia was scouting the Mudlick area when Thomas Young saw two Loyalist spys pursing them. Young saw his Loyalist cousin William Young on the other side of the river. They began talking until Loyalist fired on Thomas Young. He withdrew hoping the Loyalist would follow but they did not ending the skirmish.Added to timeline:
