Description:
After the siege of Ninety-Six Thomas Young returned to his "old neighborhood, and was engaged in various scouting expeditions." On a scouting mission to Mud Lick with Col. Thomas Brandon he spotted two spies and pursued them. A skirmish occurred but the Loyalist failed to pursue Young's group. On a second scouting mission, a band of Loyalist hiding with plunder near Sandy Run Creek were attacked and defeated. Exact location ukniown, general area.Added to timeline:
