Description:
Godfrey Dreher Sr owned and operated a grist mill on Twelve Mile Creek near the Saluda River. A miller, he supplied food stuffs and other items to the patriot cause. Along with his son, Patriot militia Capt Godfrey Dreher Jr and other family members drove off a British detachment sent from Fort Granby to arrest him.Added to timeline:
