Siege of Fort Granby (may 14, 1781 – may 15, 1781)

Description:

Col Sumter's men laid siege to Fort Granby on May 14th. Lt Col Henry Lee arrived and assume command of the seige. Lt Col Lee forced Major Maxwell, British commander to surrender and departed the fort on May 15th for Charles Town.
