Description:
"Plundering Sam" Brown was a frontier bandit. Brown went to the home of Josiah Culbertson, acosting and mistreating Mrs. Culbertson who told her husband. Josiah Culbertson along with four others chased Brown to the residence of Dr Andrew Thomson on the Tyger River. When Brown walked out the front door, Culbertson shot him in the chest, killing him. His accomplice, Butler escaped.Added to timeline:
