Skirmish at Morris Ford (may 1, 1780 – may 31, 1780)
Description:
"Old Ben" John and Tories built a redoubt at Morris Ford on the Saltketcher River. After the fall of Charles Town to the British, Patriot Capt John Munford was trying to reach the Patriot army when he was attacked by the Tories at Morris Ford. Capt Munford is buried near the rebdoubt where he was killed.Added to timeline:
